Panaway Sluicemaster wins best product award
 Haigh Engineering have now sold Panaway Sluicemaster bedpan disposers to over 70 hospitals since winning the Building Better Healthcare best product award last November.
Mr Nigel Shepherd, Haigh's Managing Director said: "The Panaway model is the best Sluicemaster model yet built, and the water and energy costs saved on a typical ward make the Panaway the disposer of choice for hospitals concerned about reducing their environmental impact. Winning the award had been an added bonus and undoubtedly contributed to the success of the Panaway during it's first year of manufacture."
Haigh have a range of two models both offering class leading performance. The Sluicemaster Classic is the base machine equalling the performance of other machines on the market while the award winning Sluicemaster Panaway, the premium model offers a disposal time for four bedpans of under 90 seconds while using only 16 litres of water, giving a potential saving of 80,000 litres of water per year.
