The new Solo T3 thermostatic mixer tap from Sirrus
Specifiers of commercial showering and washroom products may already be aware that recent revisions to Heath Technical Memorandum HTM64 have impacted on the type of brassware that is allowed in a healthcare environment. As far as the delivery of hot water is concerned, products with integral thermostatic controls are preferred, thus helping to control Legionella growth. The new Solo T3 thermostatic mixer tap from Sirrus is a type TB H2a valve as stipulated in HTM64, and also benefits from TMV3 approval. It is simple to install and maintain, with access to all serviceable parts from above the basin limiting “down time”. Its easy action single lever sequential control is simple to control and is ideal for care home and hospital environments where safety is paramount. Sirrus will also launch the Solo T3 Thermostatic Bath Shower Mixer in 2007, which has the added advantage of providing independent temperature control to the bath fill and shower and will be TMV3 approved upon launch. |
