Quick fix handwashing facilities from Teal
 The Hygienius hot water hand wash station from TEAL provides a quick fix for hospitals wanting to improve facilities in the wake of the Healthcare Commission’s decision to make unannounced inspections to check compliance with the Government’s Hygiene Code.
The unit requires no plumbing or drainage to operate – just a 13 amp socket – and is completely portable. It holds enough clean water for 50 ten second hand washes and hygienically stores the dirty water after use. It even features an illuminated display with the words “Hot Water Hand Wash”.
With hand washing one of the areas of procedure that will come under the spotlight by the Healthcare Commission inspectors, these features could be very beneficial for hospitals wanting an instant ablution solution.
The Hygienius allows individuals to wash their hands without touching a tap -just placing hands in the bowl triggers a sensor which instantaneously heats water and then delivers a ten second wash at the optimum temperature of 40-45°C.
Moulded in tough, high impact polyethylene with an acrylic capped ABS bowl, it is fully automatic with no switches, buttons or settings to be adjusted.
