Innovative plastic fire-retardant sackholders
 The U Group supplies the NHS with new and innovative Plastic Fire Retardant Sackholders.
These have been developed over six years to meet the exacting specification of the NHS and to replace the current metal units supplied to the NHS.
The metal units with their inherent maintenance problems, have long been the only option available to the NHS. These new plastic units eliminate most of these problems and provide an easy care/maintenance option, which has proved to be very popular with healthcare professionals.
The units with all plastic bodies and stainless steel pedal rod assembly are not subject to rust, peeling paint, sharp edges, dinted bodies and broken welds.
The units can be broken down and spare parts can be supplied so eliminating the purchase of an old/damaged bin, which is a great cost saving.
The units currently satisfy the NHS technical memorandums and come with hands free lids, wheels on the 65 litre unit, colour coded to the current NHS waste management directive, with the options of heat moulded in logos (permanent) and silent closing lids.
