Parking and pharmacy payments from one unit
 Milton Keynes NHS Trust solved two problems by upgrading their parking with Zeag. Their parking machines take payment for prescriptions, ensuring pharmacists don’t have to handle cash and reducing the risk of robbery or injury to staff.
The Trust replaced Pay on Display machines with a flexible Pay on Foot system, reliable and easy to manage and maintain over a 24/7 operation. They wished to ensure designated staff access, using staff ID passes.
They needed the carpark network to integrate with the existing hospital IT network, integrating carpark intercoms with the hospital switchboard to ensure 24 hour cover and fast action in medical emergencies. More unusually, they wanted staff to be able to issue a ticket to customers to take to the payment machines for payment, bringing the receipt back to claim their prescription.
