Enercom Ltd
Eight-channel meter datalogger launched

ImageIn 1998 Enercom Ltd launched its Multilog G1 system for AMR applications using a two-channel logger. Communication of all meter readings and the 30 minute energy consumption values over the site’s LV mains network were sent back to a central monitoring and energy management PC or BMS, either on-site or offsite.

Using this technology, this product has saved clients thousands of pounds in installation costs. As a result, Enercom has introduced the eight channel version known as the Multilog G2.

Benefits are seen in retrofit applications by reducing the installation and data communication cabling costs within and between site buildings.

Together with other communication options for auto collection of data via TCP/IP LAN, RS485 multi-drop, GSM Modem, PSTN and Lonworkstm FTT10 BMS networks, with simple conversion of data to CSV files, this makes the Multilog systems ideally suited for capturing data. Data can be captured for either simple uses such as importing data into spreadsheets for energy analysis, or full aM&T software applications in all sectors of the energy metering market.
