Dartec Environmental Services Limited was set up in 1993 specifically to provide assistance to owner operators of water systems in controlling the growth of Legionella Pneumophilla bacteria within those water systems.
    
We provide a comprehensive service which includes initial risk assessment as required by the Health and Safety Executive Approved Code of Practice L8, assistance with remedial works which may be required – such as cleaning and disinfection of water systems, the preparation of a scheme of control measures to ensure safe operation of the systems, and ongoing auditing of the scheme with reviews when required.
    
We operate throughout the UK from the Scottish Western Isles to the Channel Islands. We are accredited by the Legionella Control Association and adhere to their published Code of Practice.
    
All our operations are designed to ensure that our clients have fulfilled their obligations under the HSE A.C.O.P. L8 and therefore the risk of Legionaire Disease within their premises has been minimised.
