Using meLED™ (metal encased LEDs) as a light source offers many advantages. The light is impeccable and as it is an LED, it gives off next to no heat which adds to patient comfort and safety. The metal casing not only protects the LED from any potential damage, but also helps to focus the light source offering a superb view to the user. The reduced size also offers an improved view and therefore easier intubations.
MeLED™ is available in all of PROACT’s conventional ISO:7376/1 laryngoscopes.
