The UK’s first national show on Health & applied AI moves beyond the hype
London, UK - 29 April 2026 - The Health + AI Tech Show will bring together senior NHS leaders, regulators, life sciences innovators, and technology providers for a one day national forum focused exclusively on applied AI in healthcare and life sciences.
Taking place at Big Penny Social, London, the event is designed to cut through the noise surrounding artificial intelligence and focus instead on safe, deployable and scalable AI solutions that are already delivering real world impact. The agenda spans clinical diagnostics, genomics and drug discovery, hospital operations, workforce optimisation, and healthcare system transformation. All grounded in practical use cases rather than theoretical promise.
While AI has become a dominant theme across healthcare conferences, the Health + AI Tech Show distinguishes itself by addressing a growing gap in the market: the need for evidence-based, regulation-ready and operational AI that can be trusted by clinicians, adopted by health systems and justified at board and policy level.
“AI in healthcare has moved beyond the pilot phase; now the challenge is meaningful, safe deployment at scale and doing so within the realities of regulation, workforce pressure and public trust,” said Shane Ahari-White, Editor-in-Chief of Health + AI Insiders.
“This show is the first national forum designed specifically to bridge the gap between technical potential and real world delivery. Doubling down on outcomes, not experimentation.”
A national platform for NHS, life sciences and policy leaders
The Health + AI Tech Show brings together a cross-section of senior decision-makers from across the healthcare ecosystem, including NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), national bodies, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and leading AI and data providers.
The programme has been built around three core summit tracks:
- Clinical AI & Diagnostics Summit: focusing on imaging, triage, decision support, AI as a Medical Device (AIaMD), and evidence generation
- Genomics, Biotech & Drug Discovery Summit: exploring AI-driven R&D, clinical trial acceleration, biomarkers and translational science
- AI in Health & Hospital Operations Summit: covering hospital flow, command centres, workforce optimisation, safety, and system-wide transformation
Alongside the summits, the event will feature hands-on AI workshops, practical training sessions, and live demonstrations designed to help healthcare leaders move from pilots to procurement, and from proof of concept to P&L level decision making.
