The public are being invited to register for the public panel for the independent commission on adult social care.

Thousands of households across England have been sent letters at random to register their interest in joining.

The panel is part of the Big Conversation on Care, being run by the independent commission on adult social care, chaired by Baroness Louise Casey of Blackstock.

Around 125 people will be selected to take part and they do not need any previous experience or knowledge of social care to take part.

The public panel will meet in person over several weekends between November 2026 and April 2027 in Birmingham and London as well as convening for shorter online sessions.
