We are proud to have been appointed to the SBS Framework for Asbestos Management and Removal, enabling us to offer our asbestos removal services across the healthcare sector.

With over 25 years of experience and full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) licensing, we specialise in the safe removal, encapsulation and management of asbestos containing materials across NHS sites, government buildings, universities and commercial properties. Our services are supported by our ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 certifications, ARCA membership and a consistent track record of high quality delivery.

We understand the critical nature of healthcare environments, where safety is paramount and operational disruption must be minimised. Our tailored approach ensures efficient delivery, backed by fully trained, directly contracted staff, robust resources, and dedicated project management.

One of our most significant achievements to date was the successful delivery of asbestos removal at the former Derby Royal Infirmary. This £2.2 million project, completed across a 17 acre site for Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, was delivered on time and within budget. It reflects our ability to manage large scale NHS estate works and within complex and sensitive environments.

Being part of this framework allows NHS Trusts to directly procure our services with confidence, knowing they are working with a framework approved and accredited contractor.

We are also committed to social value. From local employment to community sponsorships and wellbeing initiatives, ACT delivers meaningful impact alongside our core work.

Whether you are planning estate upgrades, addressing legacy asbestos issues or responding to urgent requirements, ACT is a trusted partner with the capacity and responsiveness to support your needs. Our aim is to help create safe environments where vital NHS services can continue without disruption.
