What we do

Through a process of active listening and proactive planning, and we are committed to delivering excellent service. We achieve this with a thorough understanding of your needs to develop a bespoke solution and deliver this through training and leadership of our teams.  Adding value to our clients is the core philosophy of our business and is underpinned with 5 key principles:

Customer Focus - As a privately owned, independent company, CleanEvent Services values the freedom to totally focus on the needs of its clients, and their customers. We are committed to delivering excellent service and best value for money.

People and Teamwork - Our employees are our most important assets. We recruit employees with integrity and pride, train them to meet all the needs of our clients and encourage them to demonstrate initiative.

Innovation - Our clients’ needs never stand still and we continually evaluate innovations in technology and best practice to evolve our service offer.

Resource Efficiency - We provide the best value through our high-quality services, employee training, management systems and ongoing innovation. We give our staff the scope and authority to make sound decisions.

Diversity and Equality - We employ people from across the communities where we operate and aim to develop and nurture talent.

In 2020, we started to work with the NHS, supporting four hospitals by providing portering, cleaning, security and other support staff on a temporary basis. At this time the local teams were struggling with the effects of the pandemic and unable to cover all the staff positions. This was due to staff self-isolating,  shielding, (as individuals or due to vulnerable family members), and general absenteeism. This saw the launch of our CleanMedicare division.

Using our expertise from the events business we can offer a fully managed service to the Healthcare sector. We work on an open book policy allowing for greater flexibility to respond to your needs and requirements rather than rigid and restricting contractual agreements. Our operating model provides our NHS clients with valuable management information and reports to record levels of quality of service, staffing fulfillment, and continuous improvement. This is a key feature of the managed service.

We can offer and provide the following:

  • Surge support to provide service continuity during periods of staff absence.
  • Provide in-house service teams with operative staff when needed, for example when new facilities open, preparing for visits or inspections i.e., Care Quality Commission audits.
  • Supporting in-house teams with operative staff when taking services back in-house.
  • Support in-house teams with project management for mobilising contracts taken back in-house.
  • Supporting existing teams with the implementation of the revised National Standards of Cleanliness.
